Hurricane Helene's Effect on North Carolina

The progressive leadership in Buncombe County has demoralized and discouraged law enforcement to the detriment of public interest and safety. 

We've seen a sharp increase in population with fewer assets to address the crime that follows. This is a recipe for public injury. We need judicial officials that will render penalties adequate to deter repeat crime and we need to expose those who refuse to. 

We must fully fund, support, and train law enforcement in Buncombe County. 

The cost of living should not be oppressive to the working poor and middle classes. 

We must work to increase the availability of housing with reasonable rent rates. 

Individual property rights need to be strengthened. 

We must work to attract businesses and industries that will be generous to dependable employees and offer opportunities for growth and advancement.

Children represent the very best in us and yet they remain the truest victims in our society.  They are the precursor and true indicators of the health and future of our society. 

In the book of Proverbs it says that “children are like arrows in the hands of the warrior and blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will go out and meet with his enemies at the gates" Yet they are victimized and discarded every day in this country. 

NC Child protective services is a perfect example of this.  According to the latest report by the US DHHS, the NC child protective services leave children in harms way a full 50% of the time. If I’m elected, I will work tirelessly to change this. 

Furthermore it is important to understand that we have lost 70 million sons and daughters to abortion over the past 50 years. That means we've lost mothers fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts and grandparents, as well soldiers, skilled workers and Healthcare providers who would have been woven into the fabric of our society.  They are missing as a result of the unseen silent war on the womb. 

So, instead, we allow mass un-vetted immigration to take their place. We flood the marketplace with cheap laborers and un-vetted individuals who are too often violent and wouldn't care if they were given citizenship. 

Furthermore a nation needs 2.4 births per woman to sustain itself. America currently sits at 1.8. Researchers note that 1.4 is a Flashpoint of no return. These numbers indicate that we are a dying nation. 

God designed the nuclear family and he gave us the precious gift of children. If we are to heal and stabilize as a nation we must learn to value and protect both. 

Parents are key to stable children. Stable children are key to a stable society. 

Educators have become substitute parents in a society where only half of the children have two parents in the home and in an economy that works against the nuclear family by requiring two incomes. We need to develop innovative ways to reduce the work v. home conflict.

Some activist educators and politicians want to keep secrets from parents and thereby make parents out to be the enemy. They are not. Children should never be encouraged to keep secrets from their parents or to think that their parents are not safe.  

The Parent-Child relationship is a sacred, God-given, and Constitutional right. Parents are not an unsafe place for their children. To insinuate otherwise is subversive. 

I support Fully Funding education in NC including Public, Charter and Private institutions. What middle class family doesn't want to have and choice in where they send their child to school?

School Choice Vouchers aid the majority of working class families North Carolianians. In addition, I would support lowering the income threshold guideline to $25,000 gross per year for a household of two. 

Finally, our current system consumes 62% of our state budget. Yet, North Carolina consistently rates very low by most performance standards. I believe parent choice and parental control will change this.  We need to continue transforming the educational landscape in North Carolina.

I stand against the violent Hamas Regime and against any of those who would seek to perpetrate unprovoked violence against the Jewish community in Buncombe County.
